Ingredients
- 2 cups cottage cheese (4% or 2% fat)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Optional seasonings:
- Italian herbs
- Ranch seasoning
- Taco seasoning
- Everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat
- Process cottage cheese:
- Place in food processor
- Blend until completely smooth
- No lumps should remain
- Add seasonings to cottage cheese:
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Any additional seasonings Mix well
Making the Chips
- Spread mixture on prepared baking sheet:
- Use spatula to spread very thinly
- Create an even layer
- Approximately 1/8 inch thick
- Leave no holes or gaps
- Score the mixture:
- Use knife to score into chip-sized squares
- This makes breaking apart easier after baking
- Bake:
- Place in preheated oven
- Bake for 25-30 minutes
- Edges should be golden brown
- Center should be set
- Cool and break:
- Let cool completely on baking sheet
- Break along score lines
- Store in airtight container
